We’re proud to announce our latest student film project, For King and Country — an ambitious period drama set during the turbulent years of the Napoleonic Wars. Crafted with deep respect for historical detail and a passion for powerful storytelling, this Regency-era film is our most daring undertaking yet.

 

For King and Country follows the story of William, a young aristocrat torn between duty and desire. As war looms over Europe, he is entrusted with a critical military command by the Duke of Wellington himself. But at home, he wrestles with personal sacrifice and forbidden love, challenging the rigid expectations of his class and heritage. It’s a story of honour, heartbreak, and the timeless struggle between personal freedom and national duty.

 

From lavish costumes and authentic locations to a sweeping original score, this production aims to capture the emotional and political complexity of an era defined by upheaval and transformation. We’ve assembled a dedicated cast and crew, all driven by a shared vision: to bring a cinematic, emotionally resonant Regency world to life on a student budget — and to do it with heart, ambition, and craft.
